In a bid to inspire students, The Contrarian proudly launched the ‘Alumni Initiative’ to celebrate the achievements of Jai Hind College's Economics department alumni.
Alumni Board
Featuring names, companies, and institutions our alumni are part of, the Alumni Hall of Fame displayed on the department board in college served as a visual reminder of the diverse paths Economics students can take.
LinkedIN and Instagram Series
Our social media came alive with “A Day in the Life of Alumni”, a series showcasing the behind-the-scenes of alumni working everywhere from ET Now to Condé Nast India. Through takeovers, reels, and articles written by the alumni themselves, current students got a front-row seat to what life after college actually looks like.
Alumni Digest
The Alumni Digest came together after weeks of interviews, coordinating across time zones, and gathering experiences from our alumni. Packed with stories, advice, and reflections from alumni across batches, it’s more than just a collection of journeys—it’s a blueprint for navigating life beyond college, complete with the detours, doubts, and unexpected wins along the way.
Alumni Panel Discussion
To celebrate the release of the Alumni Digest, we hosted an Alumni Through the Years Panel Discussion on March 8th 2025, where former students shared insights on careers, challenges, and life beyond college. Held as part of our flagship event, CONceptual, the discussion concluded with the launch of the inaugural edition of the alumni publication and the annual magazine.
